About James

James is 39 years old and lives in Widnes, Cheshire. He says: "I have been having psychic experiences since I was about 10 years old, but have been working full time with spirits for the last three years, doing readings and workshops for spiritual awareness

"I have a qualification in counselling and have worked on telephone help lines in Manchester and St Helens."

He adds: "At present I am working with two guides, although I can call on other guides, if I have a particular question or problem. Like most mediums I have been taken to the hall of learning and have looked at my own life and death - which I found frightening and energising at the same time.

"At present I am working on my own meditation tapes and, like all mediums, thinking of writing a book on my development within this field, although most of the information is still stuck in my head and not on paper."

Work James does ranges from spiritual reading to spiritual research and personal readings.

He adds: "Although I can predict certain events, spiritually you are not supposed to. I would rather refer to myself as a spiritual medium, rather than a psychic. I work on a spiritual level working with the spirit and the questions are then answered, whereas, strictly speaking, a psychic works on the aura of a person or maybe reading between the lines of a question.

"I personally don't like giving long lectures on a questions that a client or reader would ask me, or even jump on the bandwagon of ending a conversation with 'walk in love and light my friend'. I am not saying I don't hope these people have a happy life I just answer the question with the spirits help and move on.

"I don't wrap it up, most people are not interested in spiritualism or religion as such, they just want their questions answering and is there life after death. If you take a look at new mediums on television and in the newspapers they work the same way, respect the person and have empathy for their feelings but answer the question without blinding them with unwanted information."

As well as running his own business offering sittings and readings to his customers, for the past twelve months James has been offering his insight to spirit world to readers of Guardian series newspapers and its web site.

Suffice to say, the 'online psychic' section has proven to be one of the most popular features on the site with people all over the globe emailing James with their questions and concerns.
